Dr. Nils Schmid, Deputy Prime Minister and Financial – Economy Minister of Baden-Württemberg Province of Germany and accompanying delegation visited the Aegean Free Zone. Minister Schmid, accompanied by Chamber of Industry and Commerce members and a wide group of Businessmen during his trip to Izmir, stated that their reason of visit is to contribute to the development of the business relations between two countries and especially to take the opportunity for the delegation members to know Izmir better.
Delegation members, taking a briefing about ESBAŞ and the Aegean Free Zone, stated that the visit has been very impressive.
The Delegation, visiting a German Origin Automotive spare part producer company - Mahle, left the Aegean Free Zone stating their wish to make another visit to the Aegean Free Zone at the earliest convenience.
