While some zoos in Germany are in the midst of discussing slaughtering animals to feed other animals due to the pandemic, ESBAŞ Food Services feeds 3 thousand animals every day by sending organic remains from the processed food at the food factory to the animal shelters.
Producing the meals for companies at the Aegean Free Zone, ESBAŞ Food Services, preserves the organic remains from the processed foods and the waste food from the companies in hygienic conditions and sends them to feed the animals at the animal shelters in Menderes and Seferihisar, which are also endorsed by Izmir Metropolitan Municipality. This food also feeds 30 cattle and 150 small animals as well as hundreds of poultry animals at a private farm in Sarnıç.
