Governor of Izmir, Yavuz Selim Köşger paid a return visit to ESBAŞ CEO Dr. Faruk Güler. Güler gave Governor Köşger a tour of the Museum Area in ESBAŞ Technology Center to give a chronological account of the developments and milestones of the Aegean Free Zone since its foundation. Güler said late founder of ESBAŞ and the Aegean Free Zone, Kaya Tuncer built a model center of industry for Türkiye and explained the challenges he faced and the progress he made throughout the process. Dr. Güler added that the Aegean Free Zone has become the largest free zone in Türkiye with a total of 167 operating companies, about 70 of which are foreign originated, an annual trade volume of 4.2 billion USD, and employment of 20 thousand 500 people.

Dr. Faruk Güler then gave a tour of the Antique Car Museum at the Technology Center and gave detailed information about the cars to Governor Köşger, who took a close interest in the antique cars manufactured between 1923 and 1960. Governor Yavuz Selim Köşger was then given a presentation of the historical development of the Aegean Free Zone.
