Vice Governor of Jiangsu Province, Shi Heping and accompanying business delegation visited ESBAŞ together with IZKA authorities on June 21, 2013. Shi Heping who signed a sister city protocol with Izmir Metropolitan Municipality in 2012 expressed his desire to increase investment and trade between Türkiye and China.

The delegation, taking a briefing about ESBAŞ and the Aegean Free Zone, visited the Antique Car Museum and Product Exhibition Hall where the products of companies located in the Aegean Free Zone are displayed. Vice Governor of Jiangsu Province Shi Heping indicated that he invited Chinese companies to invest in the Aegean Free Zone. He also stated that China’s largest solar panel manufacturer Trinasolar is looking for a place to invest in and the Aegean Free Zone is an attractive place with its incentives, logistics and labor force advantages.  The delegation left the Zone with positive impressions.
