Italian company Eldor Electronics, which has been operating in the Aegean Free Zone since 1998, continues to grow with no interruptions to the investments, despite the pandemic. Initially producing for the electronics industry, Eldor has shifted its production to the automotive industry since 2004 and is still a manufacturer for the world's leading automotive brands.
Turning its long-standing R&D efforts in electric automotive systems into investments, Eldor started investing in a new factory in the Aegean Free Zone in June 2020 to produce these systems. Eldor's investment was included in the scope of project-based incentives by presidential decree.
Eldor's Electric Vehicle Systems Production Facility in the Aegean Free Zone will be worth approximately 810 million TL in total. The facility will have 25,000 square meters of outdoor, 9,000 square meters of indoor space and will create 700 new jobs. The new facility will employ qualified staff of 40 people.
