“Valuing People Awards”, organized by PERYON (People Management Association of Türkiye) - the first non-governmental organization in the field of People Management in Türkiye – found their owners on Thursday, May 3rd in a ceremony held in Istanbul.
After an evaluation of candidate companies under 3 main categories, which are “Satisfaction and Engagement”, “Development Management” and “Efficiency of Manpower”, ESBAS was honored the award for Satisfaction and Engagement category, being selected among 3 other finalist companies in the same category.
ESBAS CEO Dr. Faruk GULER gave an acceptance speech at the award ceremony. “As ESBAS, this was the first time we applied for the award in “Satisfaction and Engagement” category. We are 500 people at ESBAS. Satisfaction, engagement, contribution and participation of our employees are the driving force of our development. Nevertheless, there are 21.500 employees in our Zone and we aim not only to raise the satisfaction and engagement of the employees of ESBAS, but also to ensure that the employees of all 175 companies in our Zone are happy and engaged individuals. Because we know that engaged and satisfied employees raise their companies up and lead them to success. As ESBAS, we will continue to improve our Human Resources strategies, which are developed and practiced to ensure the sustainability of our values Courage, Perseverance, Integrity, Commitment, Innovation and Respect; and will continue to take a new step every day on the path to excellence.”
Guler said, “This award belongs to all ESBAS employees and I am accepting it on their behalf, therefore I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to all of them”, and added, “We also would like to congratulate other companies who became the recipients of other awards tonight.”

The category of Satisfaction and Engagement looks at how companies improve the attitudes of their employees in short, medium and long term, raise their engagement levels, integrate their practices to address generational differences and verify the results with engagement surveys, and how these levels of engagement are reflected in business results.
