Enrique Vial Briceno, the Urban Planning Specialist from the Chile office of the World Bank, visited ESBAS on September 12th 2013. Mr. Briceno was invited to Türkiye by the Ministry of Economy to identify methods of improving the investment environment in Türkiye and to come up with new policy suggestions. His findings will be reported to “YOIKK-The Coordination Council for the Improvement of Investment Environment” at the end of this process.
The Aegean Free Zone officials discussed the investment opportunities and advantages of the AFZ with Enrique Vial Briceno, who is also scheduled to visit the founders and operators of the free zones and organized industrial zones in Manisa, Kocaeli and Cankiri as well as the operating companies therein. Mr. Briceno emphasized that the Aegean Free Zone is an attractive industrial center with its incentives, infrastructure, logistic and labor advantages, adding that he was impressed with the investments at the Zone.
