Recently, the primary governmental and non-governmental organizations, the private sector and universities in Izmir came together and founded Software and Informatics Industrialists Association (YABISAK). President of YABISAK Association, Dr. Faruk Güler was mu guest this week in my “Trade Talks” column.
Stating that they set out to make Izmir a World center in the field of software, Güler emphasized that it has all infrastructural requirements to create an ecosystem. Güler indicated that the success achieved in cluster of other industries in Izmir will be continued in software as well, and added, “This is a Project for Türkiye and everyone needs each other in this area. We all have things to learn from each other. Our goal is not only to develop this region but the whole country in this field and to create this ecosystem. Therefore we should act in cooperation, and not in competition. We aim for an international growth by working together with other clusters not just in Türkiye but around the World as well.”
